Body Measurements

For renters โ€” save these to your profile for fit matching

๐Ÿ‘—

Bust / Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust/chest, keeping it level across the back. Don't pull too tight.

๐Ÿ’กWear the undergarments you plan to wear with the outfit
๐Ÿ“

Waist

Measure at the narrowest part of your natural waist โ€” usually about an inch above your belly button. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

๐Ÿ’กBend to the side to find your natural waist crease
๐Ÿ“

Hip

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.

๐Ÿ’กKeep the tape parallel to the floor
โ†”๏ธ

Shoulder

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other, across the back. The tape should rest where your sleeves would sit.

๐Ÿ’กHave someone help โ€” this is tricky to do alone
๐Ÿ“Š

Height (for length reference)

Stand barefoot against a wall. Mark your height and measure from the floor.

๐Ÿ’กNote the distance from waist to floor for lehenga length comparison

โš ๏ธCommon Mistakes to Avoid

โœ—Measuring over thick clothing
โœ“Measure over thin/fitted clothes or undergarments
โœ—Pulling tape too tight
โœ“Keep it snug โ€” you should be able to fit a finger underneath
โœ—Measuring a garment while it's hanging
โœ“Always lay garments flat on a surface
โœ—Rounding to the nearest inch
โœ“Record half-inches for accuracy (e.g., 36.5")
โœ—Guessing blouse measurements
โœ“Unbutton and lay flat for each measurement
โœ—Forgetting to double flat measurements
โœ“Flat = half the circumference. Always double it.
